PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar and his club Paris Saint-German (PSG) is reportedly set to face Cristiano Ronaldo and his new team Al-Nassr soon. The two sides are scheduled to square off against each other in a friendly match in Saudi Arabia that would be held this month as per the reports.
According to a report in RMC Sport, Nasser Al-Khelaifi headed PSG will face Al-Nassr in a friendly match at the end of this month. The game has been fixed as a part of the league leader’s midseason tour of Saudi Arabia last year which was cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns.
The match, which was a contractual obligation on the Parisians’ part, could well be the final meeting between Messi and Ronaldo, with the Portuguese forward having signed a good deal to join middle east based Rudi Garcia’s club after leaving Manchester United.
However, the exact date of the above match has not been disclosed yet, but expected to be finalised in the next week.
PSG will play another three games—two in the league, one in the cup- before a mid-month break. According to Rudi Garcia, a number of ex-Ligue 1 players including David Ospina (Nice), Álvaro González (Marseille), Luiz Gustavo (Marseille), Ghislain Konan (Reims) and Vincent Aboubakar (Lorient) are featured in the team.
Coming to the Ronaldo’s appearance in game with new team, he is expected to play his first match for Al-Nassr which will be played as part of Saudi Arabia Pro League. The match will be held today at 08:30 PM. If he gets chance to perform in today’s match, It would his first appearance on ground after Qatar World Cup.
